Overview

Located on the south west coast of Antigua, St James’s Club is part of the excellent range of Elite Island Resorts. Set on a peninsula at the south of the island, this is one of the few resorts to have two beautiful beaches either side of the property – you’re spoiled for choice. Antigua’s warm year round climate makes St James’s Club an ideal summer and winter destination, and rolling green hills and shimmering sand make for a stunning backdrop against the blue horizon. But St James’s Club is for more than just sun, sand and sea.

High quality food and exceptional service at the cornerstones of the Elite Island Resorts name, and here is no exception. There are four fantastic restaurants and the staff can’t do enough to help you out. This is a vacation where you can lay back, relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. With a Children’s Club and teen room, bringing children is no problem. This fun retreat is hidden away on an isolated 100-acre peninsula, an emerald green paradise located on the south-eastern coast of Antigua.

With two white sand beaches to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to unwinding in the sunshine. Mamora Bay’s tranquil waters are ideal for swimming, whilst Coco Beach’s shallows abundant in tropical marine life makes it one of our favourite sports for snorkelling.

The following rooms, suites and villas are available

  • Club Room – spacious rooms offering lovely garden views with private balcony or terrace, with a king bed and a private balcony or patio. Some rooms have partial ocean view.
  • Premium Room – larger rooms with partial ocean views, with two doubles or a king-size bed.  Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. 
  • Beachfront – with direct access to the beach and fantastic views, offering a king-size bed or two double beds (on request). Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
  • Junior Suite - with either Garden or Ocean views these rooms have a private balcony and one king bed, plus a day bed. Sleeps 2 adults and  child under 12yrs
  • Royal Suite – Adult-only suites with a separate living room, private balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows, king bed and spacious bathroom with a deep-soaking tub. These suites also offer private check-in and a lounge a new swimming pool and are complete with WIFI, Ipod docking stations and DVD players.  Minimum age is 16 years. Sleeps 2 adults.
  • Two-bedroom Villa - Luxurious villas situated in the Club's village area, with separate dining and living areas, a full kitchen and a balcony or patio overlooking Mamora Bay. One bedroom with a king-size bed and one with twin beds, each with a full bathroom with bath, shower with plush bathrobes.   There is also a queen pull-out sofa bed in the living area.   Sleeps 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children. 1600 sq ft
  • Three-bedroom Villa - Gorgeous villas nestled in the Club Village area, offering a private terrace or balcony with partial ocean or garden view. There are three bedrooms - two with a king size bed, and one with twin beds, two full bathrooms with bath, shower with plush bathrobes, plus a separate toilet/washroom and queen pull-out sofa bed in the living area.  Sleeps 6 adults or 5 adults and 2 children.  1900 sq ft

  •     Rainbow Garden & Bar – breakfast, lunch and dinner served in an airy, tropical dining area buffet
  •     Cocos Restaurant & Bar – casual dining with beautiful sea views offering burgers, salads, soups and pastas

  •     Mamora Beach Bar & Grill - Great views of Mamora Bay, serving light snacks and beverages on the beach
  •     Reef Deck Bar - Poolside bar with a great selection of drinks
  •     Jacaranda Bar & Lounge -  Great bar with live entertainment most evenings
  •     Royal St. James's Club Poolside Bar - serving refreshing drinks throughout the day
  •     The new Mamora Bay Café coffee house is located close to the lobby area for guests to enjoy a coffee and relax throughout the day. Designed as a snack on-the-go style facility, guests may choose from a variety of specialty coffees, smoothies, teas and pastries.

Kids Club

The St James’s’ Kidz Club is the perfect getaway for young kids looking for fun, sea and sand. Located near Coco Beach, the club has a fenced play area and a covered games area right next to the main pool, offering a safe place for children aged 4-11 to play and make new friends.

There are plenty of exciting activities to keep young guests entertained and having fun, including art classes, swimming activities, nature trails, and seasonal themed programmes. Open 9.00-5.30pm, The Kidz Menu is also available for lunch and can be chosen by you on a daily basis.

For Teens

Older kids will be spoilt for choice with a great range of activities such as tennis, pickleball, kayaking, hobie-cat sailing, paddle boarding, fitness classes and more

Pre-authorisation charge: Please note guests are required to present a valid form of ID (passport, driving license, ID card) along with a valid credit card at check-in. At check-in a US$350 pre-authorisation will be processed on your card to cover any incidental purchases or similar expenses. Incidental purchases may include things like tours, excursions, gift shop purchases, and dining in our specialty restaurant. We understand that not all guests incur additional charges during their stay, but this process assists the resort with fraud prevention. The pre-authorisation is released at check-out, assuming you have not charged any purchases to your room.

Resort Fee
A resort fee of US$24.00 per room, per night, is payable locally at the resort at check-in. The resort fee does not include the Antigua Government Tourism Levy (US$5.00 per person per night) but is inclusive of all other taxes.
