Weddings at Anse Chastanet
Overview
Set in a spectacularly scenic location, Anse Chastanet encapsulates a feel of tranquillity, romance and adventure. Tie the knot with a stunning backdrop of the Pitons and the warm, golden sand sloping down into beautiful, crystalline turquoise waters.
With 600-acres of stunning land, let us familiarise you with some of the most popular choices for your wedding at Anse Chastanet. With a beachfront wedding, you’ll exchange vows to the melodies of gently rolling waves in the background, and sublime vistas of the Piton Mountain tops. The resort offers romantic, intimate spots for couples travelling alone, as well as larger venues for those wishing to celebrate their love with friends and family. A unique, and one of our favourite choices would be the treehouse. Located at the mid-level hillside, this is an open style structure which clings on to the steep cliffs, canopied by lush treetops and overlooking the north end of Anse Chastanet Beach and the Caribbean Sea. Airy, romantic and beautiful, this is an idyllic private location for either bride and groom travelling alone, or with a wedding party up to 20 guests.
The remote Anse Mamin beach is accessible by the resort water taxi or shuttle; guests favour arrival by boat. On the day of the wedding, the bride will arrive by water taxi making a grand entrance to begin the ceremony. With our Classic Wedding option, you’ll enjoy a fabulous choice of venues, the expert services of an in-house wedding coordinator, a decorated wedding location, arch, buttonhole and bouquet, as well as wedding cake, a bottle of champagne and specially decorated dinner table.
Our Premier Wedding further offers a photography package, DVD and a private champagne sunset cruise with hors d’oeuvres. If you celebrate with our Luxury package, you’ll both be indulged in a Top to Toe Spa Treatment with a manicure, pedicure, facial and full-body Swedish massage, as well as the Diamond Photography Package, wonderful musical entertainment for the ceremony, a special wedding gift and special turn down bed linen for the wedding night.
But there are plenty of things to do here should you feel the need for activity, including sunrise and sunset yoga, escorted daily walks, tennis, snorkelling equipment hire to explore the marine park just offshore, and non-motorised water sports, all included in the price. Against a charge, go scuba diving with the Resort’s PADI 5 Star scuba operation, or go mountain biking, birdwatching with trained guides or sign up for a half day sail on the resort yacht Searenity. The food at Anse Chastanet is a special treat, as the resort really goes the extra mile to ensure your culinary experience is something you member when you think of St Lucia. But the gastronomic experience doesn’t end with the restaurants. Plan a visit to the resort’s organic Emerald farm in the Soufriere Hills and sign up for the ultimate Tree to Bar chocolate class with the resort’s master chocolatier, or partake in one of the cooking demonstrations.
