Overview

In a fabulous location in Kato Paphos and 1.5km from the resort centre of Paphos, Constantinou Bros Athena Royal Beach Hotel is an adult-only resort hotel for those aged over 16 years, set in extensive and beautifully kept gardens that lead down to the sandy beach.

We love the three gorgeous freeform pools and there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out. If you prefer to keep active rather than lounging, the hotel’s organised daytime programme offers a full range of leisure activities, and there’s a floodlit tennis court and a gym.

If you are looking for something a bit different during the winter months the hotel offers complimentary dance lessons for all levels, with resident dance leaders organising classes in sequence, ballroom and Latin dancing. The hotel is also known as one of the leading flat green and crown green bowls centres and during winter months bowls co-ordinators are on hand to offer lessons and organise matches.

A superb choice of restaurants offer enriched buffets as well as a la carte dining, and our favourite choice for romantic evenings is the elegant Aphrodite a la carte restaurant. For a tasty Mediterranean buffet breakfast with Cypriot flavours try the Evelina.

Location

Set in Kato Paphos with restaurant, bars and shops on the doorstep you’re in a convenient spot for exploring. The harbour area is a leisurely 15 minute walk along the coastal path and the old town of Paphos within a ten minute taxi ride. Also within a short drive there are four excellent golf courses and plenty of historical sites, and the blue flag beach of Coral Bay is around 30 minutes by car.
