Overview

Inspired by its stunning scenery, Sunrise Attitude is an adult-only retreat that exudes authenticity and serenity. The resort is located in Belle Mare, facing a preserved beach and boasting beautiful ocean views.

We love the resort’s sustainability, and that they take inspiration from their surroundings. Stroll around the resort and you’ll find locally made furniture and cool graphic effects created with coconut leaves. The resort has also banned single plastic and created a Bulk Shop so you can fill reusable jars with coffee and tea for your room. They also offer Otentik (Authentic) Experiences where you can dine at a Family Member's (member of staff) house or download the Otentik Discovery App to go explore the island off the beaten track and experience the real Mauritian culture.

The two swimming pools are the ideal spots to relax, or why not enjoy a glass bottom boat tour in the crystal-clear lagoon with complimentary snorkelling. There’s also fantastic live shows and a fun main bar for livelier evenings complete with a DJ. Not to mention four brilliant restaurants to sink your teeth into. The rooms are bright and spacious, why not upgrade to a swim up room or a villa with a private pool.

  • The Social House – A fun restaurant serving an international buffet for lunch, and tapas for dinner. Open 7am-10am, 12pm-2.30pm and 6.30-9.30pm. No dress codes.
  • The Market – A lovely restaurant serving a mix of local and international cuisine. Open 7am-10am, 12.30pm-2.30pm and 7pm-10pm. Dress code: no beach clothes, and after 6.30pm no shorts, vests or flipflops.
  • Kot Nou – A signature Attitude restaurant, serving authentic Mauritius dishes, Open 7pm-8.30pm and 9pm-10pm. Dress code: no beach clothes, and after 6.30pm no shorts, vests or flipflops.
  • Taba-J – A cool eatery with Mauritian street food. Open 12pm-3pm and 3.30pm-5pm.
  • Papaya – The main bar, open 10am-11.30pm, with lunch offered from 12pm-2.30pm.
  • Rejuice Bar – A colourful spot to enjoy a fresh juice, open 10am-5pm. This bar turns into Kot Nou Bar from 7pm-10pm.
