  • International flights
  • Domestic transportation
  • All meals as listed in the itinerary
  • Touring with National Escorts and entrance fees
  • 18 nights in 3* - 4* accommodation
  • Escorted tour (max group size 18)
  • Activities as listed in the itinerary

Fitness Level - A reasonable level of fitness is needed, as you'll spend time on your feet, walking around sights, climbing steps (often without handrails), and getting on and off coaches and boats.

Altitude - Please note that on this tour, you will spend several nights at altitude. Cusco is at 3400 metres altitude, Puno is at 3830 metres, and La Raya Pass, where you will make a brief stop between Cusco and Puno, is at 4335 metres. Altitude sickness is a risk at these heights, so this tour is designed to be at a slower pace during your first few days to help you acclimatise.

Tipping Policy - Tipping is customary in Latin America but can be tricky to manage in terms of when and how much to tip. To make it easier, this tour uses a tipping kitty. A set amount (in USD) is collected by your National Escort on arrival and fairly distributed throughout the trip. This ensures tips are reasonable for you and fair to locals. Additional tips are welcome at your discretion.

Packing - When travelling through South America, you will experience diverse climates. It is recommended to bring layers including the following: breathable t-shirts, hiking trousers, a fleece jacket, a waterproof jacket or light rain jacket, a scarf, hat and warm socks.

Luggage - Each traveler may bring one lockable suitcase (max 20kg) and one piece of hand luggage (max 5kg).
