Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines is the national flag carrier of Turkey, and launched in May 1933 with just 5 planes. Over the years that fleet has now grown to over 300 aircraft. Now travelling to more destinations than any other airline all around the world, Turkish Airlines offer the utmost comfort and modern amenities, including in-flight WiFi on particular flights. With gastronomical delights and comfortable facilities, along with a good selection of in-flight entertainment, this award-winning airline is a pleasure to fly with.

Economy Class

Economy Class offers comfortable 31-31 inch seats, featuring a personal USB jack, a headrest that extends to a maximum of five inches, and an adjustable footrest. The airline offers close to 350 films and short programmes, including the latest releases, whilst economy class guests receive fresh meals selected from Turkish and world cuisine.

Business Class

The seats in Business Class create a 75 inch sleeping space once fully in the reclined bed position, featuring a reading light, massage button, and an armrest that can serve as a privacy screen. Business Class flyers are also treated to restaurant quality food and service, with ‘Flying Chefs’ adding to the Turkish hospitality.

Where does Turkish Airlines fly to?

Turkish Airlines operate flights from London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh. Turkish Airlines has won the Skytrax awards for Europe's and South Europe’s Best Airline for the past 6 consecutive years (2011, 2012, 2013,2014, 2015 and 2016)

Their award winning Business Class Lounge at Istanbul airport offers a very sophisticated, relaxed and comfortable experience. Facilities here include a cinema, a realistic golf simulator and a lovely little tea garden reminiscent of those found in Istanbul where you can enjoy a freshly brewed Turkish tea and simit, a traditional Turkish sesame seed bagel. The lounge also features free Wi-Fi, computers & printers, food & beverages, showers, massages and a playroom for children.

As of 31 October 2016, Turkish Airlines offer scheduled flights to Seychelles from Istanbul three times a week, operated by A330-200. The flights from the UK provide excellent connections with the flight departing from Istanbul to Mahe.
