Overview

Fun, vibrant, and family-friendly, Essence at the Fives Beach (also known as The Fives Hotel and Residences) is a wonderful choice for an all-inclusive Mexico holiday. Located in sun-soaked Playa del Carmen, you’ll be desirably close by to 5th Avenue’s array of restaurants and shops – but we reckon you’ll be too busy enjoying the facilities at this gorgeous retreat. The beach is miles long and utterly gorgeous, and so a lovely long walk along the sugary sands is thoroughly recommended.

There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy, including seven outdoor pools, live entertainment in the day and evening, and a variety of fantastic restaurants to suit even the fussiest of eaters. There’s also a great kid’s club, boasting a fun fitness area, a playground, a pool and exciting group activities.

The rooms and residences are modern with an inspired Caribbean charm. The residences in particular are spacious and well furnished, with a large living and dining area, a double sofa bed, and a balcony or terrace looking out onto the gardens and pools.

Important Notice
A mandatory Tourist Usage Fee of MXN284.00 (approximately USD20.00) per person, must be paid by all travellers visiting the state of Quintana Roo (which primarily covers the beach resorts from Holbox and Cancun in the north, all the Riviera Maya region through Playa Del Carmen and Tulum, and down to Chetumal in the south). Payment can be made either prior to travel, during your stay, or at the airport on your return.

An Environmental Tax is also payable:
