Overview

Fun, vibrant, and family-friendly, Essence at the Fives Beach (also known as The Fives Hotel and Residences) is a wonderful choice for an all-inclusive Mexico holiday. Located in sun-soaked Playa del Carmen, you’ll be desirably close by to 5th Avenue’s array of restaurants and shops – but we reckon you’ll be too busy enjoying the facilities at this gorgeous retreat. The beach is miles long and utterly gorgeous, and so a lovely long walk along the sugary sands is thoroughly recommended.

There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy, including seven outdoor pools, live entertainment in the day and evening, and a variety of fantastic restaurants to suit even the fussiest of eaters. There’s also a great kid’s club, boasting a fun fitness area, a playground, a pool and exciting group activities.

The rooms and residences are modern with an inspired Caribbean charm. The residences in particular are spacious and well furnished, with a large living and dining area, a double sofa bed, and a balcony or terrace looking out onto the gardens and pools.

  • Oka Sushi Bar – A sophisticated Japanese restaurant serving delectable sushi, sashimi and tempura. Open 5.30pm-10.30pm.
  • La Brasserie – A suave restaurant with old world inspired interiors and a classic french bistro menu. Open 07.00-11.00am
  • Flavours – Journey around the world with this varied menu for breakfast and dinner. Open 6.30am-12.001pm and 5.30pm-10.30pm.
  • Natura Day Club & Grill – An exclusive Adult Only poolside lounge, grill and bar offering succulent grills and fabulous drinks. Bar open 10am-5pm, grill open 12pm-4pm.
