Dubrovnik is a city rich in history and culture, with no shortage of ways to fill your days. Visitors can enjoy walking the famous city walls, exploring the marble streets of the Old Town, or relaxing on one of the many beautiful beaches along the Adriatic coast.

Day 4

Dubrovnik

Board MS Summer today for your Croatian cruise, docked in Dubrovnik’s Gruž harbor, with embarkation possible throughout the day. A welcome meeting at 7pm will introduce you to the crew and your fellow passengers, and your welcome dinner will be served at 19:30.

Overnight in Dubrovnik (dinner included).

Day 5

Dubrovnik to Slano

After breakfast, a guide and coach will take you to the historical centre of Dubrovnik, the city’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, where your guide will show you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik, known as “The Pearl of the Adriatic”. Return coach transfer is scheduled between 12 - 1pm.

Lunch is served on board as the ship sails for Slano, located on the mainland. Slano is a picturesque place on the Dubrovnik Riviera, with a beautiful beach, dense pine forest and olive groves. For those interested, an optional excursion to Ston will be organised. Ston is a fortified town known for its 5-kilometre-long walls, historic saltworks and oyster and mussel farms. Reservations and payment are made on the spot.

Overnight in Slano (Breakfast and lunch included).

Day 6

Slano - National Park Mljet - Korcula

The day starts with a morning departure towards Mljet National Park. When you arrive, you’ll have time to explore the park, walk around the Great and Small Lake, visit the Islet of St. Mary with its Benedictine Monastery from the 12th century and, of course, take a swim in the heart of National Park. Entrance fees to Mljet National Park are included.

With lunch served on board, you'll set sail for the Island of Korcula, arriving there in the afternoon. The town of Korcula is the island’s main settlement and is known as the birthplace of Marco Polo, one of the world’s most famous explorers of all time. Your guide will take you for a tour of Korcula Town, through its narrow and cobbled streets and its rich history. You’ll have the rest of the evening free to enjoy dining at one of the local restaurants of your choice.

Overnight in Korcula (Breakfast and lunch included).

Day 7

Korcula – Vis

In the morning, you'll cruise to the Island of Vis, with lunch on board and a swim stop en route. Arrival to Vis is scheduled for the afternoon. Compared to other Adriatic islands, Vis is rather unique. Being an important strategic military stronghold for centuries, Vis has retained its unspoilt beaches, ecological agriculture and traditional architecture.

Enjoy the afternoon exploring the town of Vis, its picturesque stone streets, pristine beaches and fine taverns. For those interested, an optional Vis Island excursion will be organised, including a visit to Komiža, a charming fishermen’s village. Reservations and payment are made on the spot.

Overnight in Vis (Breakfast and lunch included).

Day 8

Vis – Bisevo Blue Cave - Hvar

Today you will cruise to the Island of Biševo and its Blue Cave, one of the most famous natural attractions in the Adriatic Sea. The Blue Cave is a sea cave that can only be accessed by boat. However, high waves may occasionally prevent entry, which cannot be determined in advance of the scheduled visit. For this reason, entrance fees are payable on the spot.

After a swim stop and lunch on board, you will continue cruising along numerous coves and bays towards Hvar, the sunniest Croatian island and one of the country’s most attractive tourist destinations, known as a meeting point for international jet-setters. Upon arrival in Hvar, a local English-speaking guide will take you on a walking tour of this unique city, introducing you to its rich history, culture and way of life. After the tour, you will have the evening at leisure to explore and enjoy dinner at one of the many family-owned restaurants and traditional taverns.

Overnight in Hvar Historical Town (Breakfast and lunch included).

Day 9

Hvar - Bol - Milna

In the morning, you’ll cruise towards Bol, a place best known for its beach of Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape), which regularly hits the top lists of the most beautiful European beaches. Once you have stopped in Bol, you can enjoy simple pleasures such as taking a walk around this nice little Dalmatian town, perhaps having a cup of coffee or a swim, until lunch is served on board.

After lunch you’ll continue cruising towards Milna, a charming seaside village on the island of Brac, known for its beautiful stone houses and peaceful atmosphere. On this evening you will have Captain’s dinner on board, along with live music entertainment.

Overnight in Milna, (Breakfast, lunch, and captain’s dinner included).

Day 10

Milna - Split - Trogir

In the morning you’ll sail for Split, where an English-speaking guide will do a Split City tour, walking through the world-famous Diocletian’s Palace. Over 1700 years old, Split abounds with cultural and historical sights, lots of them situated within the Split historical nucleus, which has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List ever since 1979.

After lunch on board, you will continue to Trogir, another city inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. This town-museum is literally packed with palaces, churches, monasteries and towers. You will embark on a city tour of Trogir, and then be left on your own to explore this lively and bustling Mediterranean city and enjoy dinner.
