Full Day Bangkok Explorer

Start your day at Wat Saket which is easily recognized by its golden Chedi atop a fortress like hill, climb the 318 steps to the panoramic view of old Rattanakosin and the roofs of Bangkok. Your next stop will be to the Monk’s Alms Bowl Making Village of “Baan Batr” which is the last existing place in Bangkok that still hammers out, by hand, the brass bowls that the Buddhist monks carry with them during the morning alms round. Afterwards visit Pak Klong Talad, the largest wholesale and retail fresh flower market in Bangkok which supplies the flowers for the Phunag Malai garlands that are used as Buddhist offerings.
Hop onto a tuk tuk and ride to Wat Pho, one of the largest temple complexes in the city and famous for its giant reclining Buddha that is 46 metres long and covered in gold leaf. From the nearby pier you will take the public ferry and cross the mighty Chao Phraya River to Bangkok’s best-known landmark, the Wat Arun or Temple of Dawn. Enjoy some time here before visiting a local restaurant for lunch and your final visit to Wat Phra Kaew, Temple of the Emerald Buddha (DTM).
