Day 1

Arrive in Bangkok

Welcome to Thailand! Begin your journey in vibrant Bangkok, a city where modern skyscrapers and shopping malls blend with traditional Thai elements. Witness monks in orange robes using smartphones and see temples and neon bars coexist harmoniously. After settling into your hotel and meeting your Travel Director, enjoy a dinner that introduces you to delicious Thai flavours and your fellow travellers.

Day 2

Bangkok Sightseeing

Embark on a day-long Bangkok tour, featuring the ancient Wat Pho and its colossal Reclining Buddha, followed by the majestic Grand Palace and the sacred Emerald Buddha Temple. Enjoy a local lunch, then cruise through the city's serene canals, passing stilted homes and glimpsing the riverine way of life.

Day 3

Bangkok Free Day

Today in Bangkok offers endless possibilities. Visit the vibrant Pak Klong Talad flower market or explore Chinatown's streets for street food and jade shopping. Alternatively, join our trip to Ayutthaya, Thailand's former capital, with a stop at the beautiful Bang Pa Summer Palace. Discover Ayutthaya's rich history through its temples and statues, then cruise back to Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River, enjoying a buffet lunch with scenic views.

Day 4

Bangkok- Kanchanaburi

Today we bid farewell to Bangkok and head to Kanchanaburi. We'll start with a visit to the Thailand-Burma Railway Museum and the War Cemetery. After lunch, we'll explore the historic Death Railway and enjoy a scenic train ride with stunning river views and wooden viaducts. Our day concludes with a visit to the iconic Bridge over the River Kwai, followed by dinner at our nearby hotel.

Day 5

Kanchanaburi Free Day

Enjoy a free day in Kanchanaburi on your Thailand tour. Relax at the hotel's spa, explore the town, or join our optional River Kwai Longtail Boat Cruise. The cruise includes a visit to Hellfire Pass, a monumental excavation by Prisoners of War, followed by a scenic boat journey to River Kwai Jungle Rafts. After lunch, explore the Mon Tribal Village before a downstream ride back to your hotel.

Day 6

Kanchanaburi- Sukhothai

Rise early for a journey north to Sukhothai, with a highlight en route at Bhutsaya Khiri Suvarnabhumi, or Rock Buddha. Marvel at this grand hillside-carved seated Buddha, completed in 2019. Enjoy a local lunch on the way, arriving in Sukhothai by afternoon, followed by a group dinner.

Day 7

Sukhothai Sightseeing and Free Time

Sukhothai, the cradle of Thai civilization, impresses with its rich history. Today, we visit the UNESCO-listed Sukhothai Historical Park to explore ancient temples and palace ruins. Spend the afternoon at your leisure or join our optional Thai cooking class. Learn about unique Thai herbs and spices, cook a signature dish like "Pad Pak Bung Fai Daeng," and savour your delicious creation for dinner.

Day 8

Sukhothai- Chiang Rai

Today we journey to the stunning mountains of Chiang Rai, starting early. En route, we'll visit Khaw Phayao Lake, northern Thailand's largest freshwater lake, and then proceed to the unique Wat Rong Khun, also known as the White Temple. Built in 1977 by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, it stands out among Thailand's temples. We'll conclude our day with a short drive to Chiang Rai, checking into our hotel for a group dinner.

Day 9

Golden Triangle Sightseeing

Embark on a journey to the Golden Triangle, starting with the educational Hall of Opium Museum, showcasing 5000 years of opium history through interactive exhibits. Visit the visa-free Don Sao Island Markets in Laos, exploring local handicrafts and snacks, before returning to your Chiang Rai hotel.

Chiang Rai- Chiang Mai
