- Explore the beaches in the area. Nearby beaches like Ky Co and the Eo Gio headland, along with the small fishing village of Nhon Hai, offer a rougher, more dramatic coastline within easy reach of town. Further south, Bai Xep is a small fishing village where basket boats still line the shore.
- Step back into Cham history. Thap Doi, or the Twin Towers, dates back to the end of the 12th century, built during the Champa civilisation, and remains one of the city's most striking historic sites.
- Visit Queen’s Beach. Named after Queen Nam Phuong, the last empress of Vietnam, this beach is known for its fine sand and thousands of smooth, egg-shaped stones scattered along the shore, making it a distinctive stop just outside the city centre.
