Day 1
Airport - Dambulla / Sigiriya (approx 3-4 hours)
On arrival at the airport, you will be met by a representative of Tropical Sky and assisted at the airport and then transferred directly to your hotel.
Afternoon at leisure.

Day 2
Dambulla / Sigiriya
After your breakfast at the hotel, visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress a “UNESCO World Heritage Site” and the 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky” a visit to Sigirya Rock should be one everyone’s itinerary. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the Palace on the summit of the 600-foot high rock. On its summit are the foundations of the Royal Palace, Water Tanks to supply water and all other buildings and at the edges the guardhouses.
Therafter visit the Polonnaruwa ancient city-the Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th -13th Century contains some splendid and spectacular statues. Lankatileke, Tivanka and Thuparama are the most beautiful and largest shrine ruins and Tivanka has the best example of frescoes of the Polonnaruwa period.
Transfer back to hotel.

Day 3
Dambulla / Sigiriya - Kandy (approx 2-3 hours)
After breakfast, transfer to Kandy, visiting the Dambulla Cave Temple en-route. This is another of Sri Lanka’s World Heritage Site – a vast cave temple complex, adorned with paintings and statues. In the evening, witness a cultural show featuring a variety of classic Sri Lankan dances.

Day 4
Kandy
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have the chance to visit and explore the city of Kandy. This will include an Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, the Arts and Crafts Centre, Gadaladeniya, Lankathilake, Embekke and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. The latter of these has survived since the 4th Century AD, when the Buddha’s tooth was brought to Sri Lanka from sacrilegious hands where it has since grown in repute and holiness. The Royal Botanical Gardens are also well worth visiting – an array of tropical flora, spanning more than 5000 species. Later, transfer back to the hotel.

Day 5
Kandy-Nuwara Eliya (approx 4-5 hours)
After breakfast, head to Nuwara-Eliya where you can enjoy a half-day city tour. En-route there will be a visit to a tea factory and Ramboda Falls. Nuwara-Eliya is often referred to as the ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka and is set against a stunning backdrop of mountains, valleys and waterfalls, dotted with tea plantations along the way.

Day 6
Nurawa Eliya to Yala (approx 4 hours)
After breakfast, it is time to transfer to the hotel in Yala. Once you’ve checked in at the hotel, you’ll have the afternoon to spend at your leisure. In the evening there is a 4x4 safari in the Yala National Park. This amazing destination spans over 126,000 hectares and is famous for vast herds of elephants, leopards, crocodiles and buffalo. Later there is a transfer to the hotel.

Day 7
Yala
After an early breakfast at the hotel, you can enjoy a morning safari in the Yala National Park. Later there will be a transfer back to the hotel. The evening is yours to spend at your leisure.

Day 8
Yala - Airport / Beach Resort (approx 3-4 hours)
