Day 1

Colombo

Begin your Sri Lankan adventure at the legendary Galle Face Hotel, a colonial-era icon that has welcomed royalty, authors, and explorers since 1864.

Colombo

Colombo - Sigiriya

Sigiriya - Kandy

This morning, rise before dawn for an unforgettable hot air balloon flight over Sigiriya. As the sun breaks the horizon, drift above jungles, shimmering lakes and villages stirring to life, with views of the majestic rock fortress and its ancient surroundings emerging in the morning light. This experience is weather dependent, and in the event that it cannot go ahead, you will instead climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Later, journey into the cultural heart of Sri Lanka as you arrive in Kandy to visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth, where a revered relic of the Buddha draws visitors from across the world. Your day ends in timeless style at Simpson's Forest, a peaceful retreat set amidst lush tea estates and misty hills.

Day 6

Kandy

Begin your day exploring Udawattekele Sanctuary, a peaceful forest reserve once reserved for royalty. Now a haven for rare birdlife and ancient hermitages, this sacred woodland offers a quiet, contemplative escape just above the bustle of the city.

Later, explore Kandy’s vibrant heart – discovering its colourful markets, lakeside promenades and colonial centre.

Day 7

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, embark on one of Sri Lanka’s most scenic experiences – a train journey from Kandy to Nanu Oya Station. Nuwara Eliya

Enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Liddesdale Tea Factory, a working estate typically closed to the public. Day 9

Nuwara Eliya - Yala

Day 10

Yala

Wake to the calls of the jungle as the first light filters through the trees – a gentle reminder that you’re deep in the heart of Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife sanctuary. Set out on a morning private safari, tailored by your personal guide to match your interests and pace.

This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the wild on your own terms, with the freedom to spend more time at sightings and dive deeper into the stories of the land. Track elusive leopards through golden grasslands, watch herds of elephants at watering holes and spot sloth bears and vibrant endemic birds – all in the comfort of a bespoke safari experience designed for you.

Return to camp for a delicious breakfast, taking time to unwind by the poolside - where the stillness of the afternoon is broken only by birdsong and the rustle of the breeze through the trees. After a leisurely lunch, your adventure continues with a guided sunset visit by jeep to the ancient Sithulpauwa Rock Temple. Day 11

Yala

After an exhilarating game drive, return to camp for breakfast and spend the morning relaxing by the pool. Lunch is followed by an afternon safari, providing new opportunities to encounter Yala's remarkable wildlife. As night falls, return to Leopard Safaris for dinner under the stars.

Later, join a guided night walk around the property, where the forest reveals its hidden nocturnal wonders - an enchanting finale your day.

Day 12

Yala - Weligama Bay

In the morning, enjoy a final safari in Yala National Park before breakfast at camp. Check out and take a transfer to the southern coast. Arrive at the elegant Parangi Weligama Bay, where every detail reflects the elegance and soul of Sri Lanka.

Day 13

Weligama Bay

Delve into Sri Lanka’s rich tea heritage with a private guided visit to the charming Muswenna Tea Factory, known for its artisanal, small-batch production.
