Details

The perfect mix for a memorable visit to Malaysia, combining the vibrant Asian Capital city of Kuala Lumpur, the dense rainforect jungle of Taman Negara with a 6 night finale at the brand new and beautiful Golden Palm Tree Water Villas and Spa resort.

This is a great holiday for any age with so many choices of activities and things to do.

Visit the Petronas Towers in Kuala lumpur, walk across the largest jungle bridge in Asia in Taman Negara and gaze over the warm waters of the Straits of Malacca.

This really is a great journey.

Day 1 : Fly to Kuala Lumpur overnight

Day 2 : Arrive Kuala Lumpur
Arrive in Kuala Lumpur and transfer to the four star Traders hotel in the centre of the city.

Day 3 : Kuala Lumpur
Today you have time to see the highlights of Kuala Lumpur.

Day 4 : Taman Negara Park
Travel by road to the rural town of Jerantut via the scenic Genting Sempah Mountain Pass. At Jerantut you stop for lunch and a short rest before proceeding to the River Bank at Kuala Tembeling where you board the motor canoes to Kuala Tahan and the Headquarters of the Taman Negara National Park. This 3-hour trip upriver is fascinating and as you proceed into the jungle the vegetation along the banks of the river becomes increasingly dense. You arrive at Kuala Tahan in the late afternoon and after a delicious dinner you can watch a video about the park and join the night Jungle Walk.

Day 5 : Explore the Jungle
Today you have the chance to discover more about the Park. Depending on the time of year and number of visitors in the Park you may have a chance to take a motorised canoe up the Tahan River tributary to the cataracts of Lata Berkoh, where there is excellent fishing. Or you may have a chance to walk along the 500 metre canopy walkway which is the longest in the world. After the canopy walk you may proceed on a jungle trek to Teresik Hill from where you can view Mount Tahan, the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia at 2178 meter (7186 ft.). During the trek, your guide will give you basic instructions on how to survive in a jungle, jungle ecology, flora identification etc.. You will return by a different trail passing the Lubok Simpon water hole for a refreshing swim and rest. In the evening you may be able to join a “vigil” at the tree house to watch the animals.

Day 6 : Golden Palm Tree Sea Villas
After breakfast you return to Kuala Tembeling by boat then are driven to the Golden Palm Tree Sea Villas Resort for your six night relaxing stay.
