Day 1

Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales

Beginning in Punta Arenas on the tip of Chile’s southernmost Patagonia region, you’ll embark on a coach journey (approx. 3 hours) heading south over to Puerto Natalaes, the gateway to the Torres del Paine National Park.

Check into your hotel on arrival and get settled for your overnight stay.

Day 2

Puerto Natales

After breakfast in the hotel, transfer over to the pier and begin your sailing experience on the Ultima Esperanza Fjord. Admire the views on this 3-hour navigation to the thousand-year-old glacier, Mount Balmaceda, habitat of cormorants and sea lions. Disembark at the end of the fjord and walk approx. 1 hour following a pathway taking you through the wonderful native forest to the foot of the astounding Glacier Serrano. On your way back stop off at an Estancia for a typical barbecue lunch (during low season a lunch box) before returning to your hotel later this afternoon.

Day 3

Puerto Natales & Torres del Paine

Today after breakfast, you will head through the wildlife and sheep filled steppes and Patagonia scrub up to the UNESCO world heritage Torres del Paine National Park. The main highlights is the abundance of native fauna, especially the large herds of guanacos and the Salto Grande of the Pehoe River with the impressive Paine Massif in the background. While at Lake Pehoe visit the beautiful Lake Grey and Grey Glacier and after lunch visit the Mildon Cave where the remains of a prehistoric animal were found in the last century.

This evening return to Puerto Natales for an evening at leisure.

Day 4

Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the bus station to board a regular service bus that goes to Punta Arenas airport to board your next flight.
